1980 Dodge Diplomat Model
This 1980 Dodge Diplomat was another request from my little brother, but I decided to stray from the usual game-inspired vehicles and create something more realistic.
The model is based on the classic American sedan, featuring a deep burgundy body, a long bonnet, a spacious four-door design, chrome trim, silver bumpers, rectangular headlights, a detailed front grille, side mirrors, and elegant wire-style wheels. Its boxy shape and traditional styling capture the distinctive look of an early-1980s luxury car.
I wanted this model to feel believable and grounded, as though it could have come straight from a real 1980s street scene. The dark red paintwork, chrome details, formal design, and realistic proportions give it a sophisticated and nostalgic appearance.
Although it was made because of my little brother’s request, the 1980 Dodge Diplomat gave me the chance to try something different. Instead of making another exaggerated racing or off-road vehicle, I focused on recreating a classic sedan with a realistic road-car design and vintage character.
Plus, if you go X-ray you'll find a secret easter egg! Once finding the easter egg, if you'd like to delete it to help with printing (or delete the windows to see the secret or seperate the windows and print in transparent matierial to glue them later) just go on Blender, enter Editing mode (press tab), and then seperate by loose parts. You're welcome. There might be other ways to do this, but this is the only way I know how, Comment if you need more guidance.
