Want to add beautiful geometric textures to your 3D prints without changing the original model? These universal pattern modifiers are engineered to be stamped directly into your first layer!

They work perfectly with my Foldable Storage Bins [Link], but you can use them on any flat-surface model (like phone cases, coasters, or signs). If you print on a textured PEI plate, the results look incredibly premium and professional—perfect for home or office decor.

📖 Slicer Tutorial (How to apply the patterns correctly):

  1. Import both files into your slicer: your main object and the pattern STL. They will both sit on the build plate.

  2. Select your colors for both parts. If you want, you can now freely scale, position, and rotate the pattern STL to match your object perfectly.

  3. Select both the main object and the pattern STL together, right-click, and choose Assemble (or Merge depending on your slicer).

  4. Now, go to the Objects tab on the left side of your slicer. Expand the assembly, right-click specifically on the pattern layer, and select Change Type -> Modifier.

  5. Slice your model and enjoy the flawless multicolor inlay on your first layer!
