This model contains every component required to build a fully articulated Iron Man gauntlet. All parts are provided as separate STL files for easy printing, scaling, and finishing. The glove is designed for cosplay, display, or integration with LED lighting.

Included Files

  • Palm Armor Main structural shell for the hand. Features internal geometry for stability and external plating styled after the Iron Man Mk‑series gauntlets.

  • Joint Files Full set of articulation components used to connect finger segments and allow bending. These parts are intended to be printed in flexible filament (TPU) for smooth motion.

  • LED Cover Circular housing designed to sit over the repulsor cavity. Works as a diffuser for LEDs and can be printed in transparent or translucent filament.

  • Finger Armours Complete set of armour plates for all five fingers. Includes top and bottom segments for each finger, designed to fit over the joint system for accurate movement and screen‑style plating.

  • Hand Topper Back‑of‑hand armour plate that sits above the palm and finger bases. Provides the iconic Iron Man look with layered plating.

Printing Recommendations

  • Armor Plates (palm, finger armours, hand topper): PLA or PETG for strength and clean surface finish.

  • Joint Files: TPU recommended for flexibility.

  • LED Cover: Transparent PLA/PETG for lighting effects.

  • Layer Height: 0.12–0.20 mm for detailed plating.

  • Supports: Required for curved surfaces on the palm and hand topper.

Assembly Overview

  1. Print the joint files in TPU and assemble them into each finger segment.

  2. Slide the finger armours over the joint assemblies.

  3. Attach the palm armour to your glove base or mounting frame.

  4. Install the hand topper over the back of the hand.

  5. Fit the LED cover into the repulsor cavity and add LEDs if desired.

  6. Test articulation and adjust scaling if needed.

Notes

  • All parts can be mirrored to create a left-hand version.

  • Designed for cosplay, wearable electronics, or display props.

  • Components can be scaled to fit different hand sizes.
