These "C-shaped" clips snap directly onto the metal rod of the chair's piston. By stacking them, you transfer your weight to the printed parts instead of the faulty gas spring, keeping your chair at the perfect height, use the plastic bracelet to block it, you can close them by using M3 screws of at leasft 30mm of lenght.
Print Settings & Recommendations:
Material: PETG or ABS are ideal, but PLA works perfectly for a temporary fix.
Walls/Perimeters: 4 to 5 walls for maximum structural strength (this is crucial since it has to support your body weight).
Infill: 60% - 80% (Gyroid or Cubic pattern recommended).
Orientation: Print flat on the build plate. No supports needed.
There's also the .STEP file to change the cylinder height to the the one that fits you best!
