Parametric Split Keyboard Palm Rest
A two-part, free-floating palm rest system designed specifically for split mechanical keyboards (Lily58, Corne, Sofle, and similar). Because the units are free-floating, they adapt to any desktop setup.
The top pad is optimized for low-infill TPU for a soft, cushioned feel, while the interchangeable tenting bases attach via rigid locating pins—requiring zero tools or hardware.
Key Features
100% Support-Free: Print easily without support material on both parts.
0 degree Tenting Option: Palm Pad can be used standalone directly on the desk for 0 degree.
Toolless Keyed Interlocking: Tent Base can be swapped using integrated locating pins that fit the underside of the Palm Pad.
Universal & Free-Floating: Designed for Lily58 and Corne keyboards, but floats freely for compatibility with other setups.
Fully Parametric: Includes STLs for Palm Pads and common angle Tent Bases (Left & Right). Custom angles can be generated via FreeCAD.
CC0 Public Domain: Free and open source—modify, share, sell, or remix without restrictions.
Recommended Print Settings
Palm Pad (TPU)
Material: TPU (95A or softer)
Infill: 10–15% (Gyroid recommended for optimal cushioning)
Walls / Perimeters: 2
Supports: None (Place the flat face containing the locating pin holes directly on the build plate)
Tenting Base (PLA / PETG)
Material: PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.
Infill: 15–20% (Grid or Cubic)
Walls / Perimeters: 3 (ensures strong, rigid locating pins)
Supports: None (Place the flat bottom face opposite the locating pins directly on the build plate)
Pro Tip: Glue a thin piece of shelf liner or adhesive rubber feet to the bottom of the Tent Base (or directly to the Palm Pad for 0° mode) to prevent sliding on smooth desks.
