Print two rails and one joint piece and slide together - no other hardware or bearings required.
Designed with 2-1/2" deck or woodworking screws in mind. Countersink isn't perfect when fit loose, but I figure as the screws are tightened they will dig into the plastic and will become flush. If you wanted to use another kind of screw, any countersinking screw of a small enough size should work.
Closed length is 20CM, open length is 40CM.
I printed mine out of PLA with 3 walls and brick layers enabled. # of walls and infill percentage will depend on your application. Since there are no bearings, use a low friction plastic.
I've not had a chance to load test these, but I wanted them for use with some mod-grid parts boxes I was working on - for that purpose it seems well suited.
You will need to build a backstop into the project you intend to use these with - When "opened" they extend up to 40 CM, but when "closed" they will disassemble if no other kind of stopper is set up.
