The original ghost (OG) is approximately 53 × 33 × 50 mm. It makes a fun little Halloween decoration for a desk, shelf, party, classroom, or wherever you need an absolutely terrifying presence. Print one or print enough to form a tiny ghost army. The original army .3mf contains 30 ghosts.
The new sizes have adjusted interiors rather than simply being scaled copies. Their main walls stay approximately 1.75 mm thick through the 150 mm version, increasing to 2.1 mm for the 190 mm version and 2.4 mm for the 230 mm version. The reinforced lower rim and bevel grow with the ghost, keeping a sturdy base without making the entire body unnecessarily thick.
The 110 mm version is designed to fit over a battery-powered light up to 40 mm in diameter and 25 mm tall. I checked the fit digitally but haven't yet test-printed. Use LED lights only, of course. This ghost is not qualified to supervise an open flame.
For all larger versions, inspect the sliced preview before printing: the exterior overhang angles remain the same, but unsupported spans become physically larger.
Using the Arachne wall generator rather than Classic made a big improvement in both print quality and print time on this model. The curved body, arms, and varying wall thicknesses benefit from Arachne's variable extrusion widths. It produces much cleaner toolpaths than the Classic wall generator on this particular geometry.
The bottom features a thickened perimeter for added strength without significantly increasing filament use. A slight bevel around the lower edge also makes the ghost more comfortable to handle and, as a bonus, a little less likely to draw blood when your kid leaves one on the floor for you to step on in the middle of the night.
