This is a reference CAD, not intended for printing.

Reverse-engineered from measurements of the Makera Z1 4th-axis hardware for designing fixtures, adapters, workholding, and accessories. Not official Makera CAD.

I modeled this to help with other 3DP designs for use with the Z1. I very intentionally kept chamfers to a minimum and avoided fillets to allow easier modification of the STEP file. The parts are grouped in the STEP model but can be split into separate objects.

I started the whole thing because I wanted to 3DP a centering plug to fit on the tailstock spindle. I'll post that model next ... right here.

The fasteners and internals are also just estimates because they don't matter for what I'm doing (and I'm not doing a teardown). Other than these items, most dimensions should be accurate to about ±0.2mm.

Maybe you'll find it useful. If you find any issues or have suggestions, please let me know. Thank you for looking!
