I originally designed this floating shelf for a project on out bathroom. The idea came from a much larger Ikea shelf that we had years ago. It ended up working out pretty well as a 3D print. I have printed these in PLA and PETG. Printer used: Anycubic Kobra Max3 with brass 0.4 nozzle. Filiment used: Flashforge and ESun.
Note: the Ikea versions had a screw that was inserted under the poles to lock the shelf into place. These shelves were much larger and was designed to handle much more weight. These are not designed with that purpose and are much smaller, therefore they aren't needed. The fine print lines actually provide enough resistance to keep them right where they are as we've had our mounted an in use now for many months.
