The medium tactical cruiser was one of the playable ships in the now defunct game Dreadnought.

Medium Tactical Cruiser

Tactical Cruiser are support ships that can render in-battle repairs. The medium tactical cruiser, built by Oberon, is a balanced supporter with good repair capability and enough mobility to get to where it's needed. The primary armament of medium tactical cruiser consists of 7 ball turrets that can fire both repair beams for allies and damaging beams for enemies.

The loadout shown by this model is geared towards fast emergency repairs. It is equipped with a target jump drive that can transport it instantly to any ally within line-of-sight, be that to render repairs or get out of danger. Once it is at an ally in need, it can deploy energy missiles to replenish shields, as well as repair drones and repair autobeams. (It also has offensive secondary weapons, but they barely matter on this ship. This loadout has missile turrets, which are pretty much useless. But, as stated, this does not matter.)

The Game Dreadnought

Dreadnought was basically like World of Warships, but in space. The game is no longer available as the servers were shut down in 2023.

The game featured a total of 15 ships, spread across 5 classes - corvettes, destroyers, dreadnoughts, artillery cruiser, and tactical cruiser. Each class came in 3 variants - light, medium, and heavy. Each of the 15 ships had its own fixed primary weaponry.

The ships were customizable. You could select the secondary weapons and four abilities. The abilities were called modules and belonged to one of four slots - primary, secondary, perimeter, and internal.

This model emulates this customization by having the weapons and modules be separate parts. (Except for the perimeter module, which would be way to small.) I might add more choices later.
