Model Details
A wall mount for the Infant Optics DRX-8 PTZ. Goes in the corner of the room.
Has 6 holes to mount the unit with. 3 on the left, and 3 on the right. All the same size.
There is a cable passthrough so you can keep it cleaner.
The camera mounts onto it by sliding the bottom of the camera over the fake screw head, as if you were mounting it to the wall directly.
The camera should rest slightly on the rounded edge to act as an additional support. I didn't want the fake screw head to take all the weight.
Printing Notes
Make sure the fake screw head that holds the camera in place is supported during the print. The 6 screw holes to mount it to the wall should be fine being unsupported.
Infill at your preference, but I liked rectilinear at 15% for this, just to make sure the integrity of the walls were ok when the screws to mount it to the wall were tightened.
Installation Notes
Just your friendly neighborhood reminder to use wall anchors for the screws when attaching this to the wall! Ours has been on the wall for over a year with just 2 screws and still working fine!
