Framework Laptop 12 Mainboard case
The goal of this design is to have a compact and secure casing for the Mainboard as well as the battery. To achieve this I imagined a cable that can be made to attach the AC headers on the bottom side of the case. This way the Mainboard and the battery can be secured in a stacked configuration instead of spread out to save space.
Assembly
I tried to keep parts to a minimum.
Required:
8 x M3x8 screws
1) The Mainboard and the Battery should be attached to the "Frame". There are groves to align each part.
2) Once secured, it can be attached to the FrameBottom, battery facing FrameBottom, with 4 M3x8 screws.
3) The FrameTop part can be attached with 4 M3x8 screws from the back.
I will most likely do some updates with this design.
