Design
I made this design because I needed a simple and effective way of organizing stuff and makeup in the bathroom. Therefore I added three compartments: One large but shallow one, useful for things such as
makeup boxes, one smaller medium height for lipsticks or similar things and one smaller really high one to stow eyeliners and brushes.
Most boxes stop there, giving you a functional model that does its job well enough. But I wanted to go further: From the beginning on, I knew this was going to be an object you interact with and look at every single day. A plain box is boring to look at and as makeup makes you more beautiful the box containing it should be optically appealing as well. So, I added hexagons, or honeycombs, to all sides and dividers, including the bottom. That, by the way, allows you to conveniently clean the box and if water accidentally gets in, it just flows out again through the bottom. If you print it in PETG, you could probably even put it into the dishwasher to remove all residue.
