I thought the R-Class was a big model, but I decided to go even bigger. The Graf Zeppelin is very unique airship, and in my opinion the best-looking one every built. I could have scaled it down, but I wanted it to be at the same scale as the R and P class airships I made previously. As such, it comes it at 16 inches in length, making this the largest model I've made so far. With such a huge size, I took the opportunity to detail it more, like adding windows to the gondola and the air scoops atop the lifting envelope. But still, there's not much to add.

That said, I don't think I will make the Hindenburg. Not only is it too big, but personally I think it's pretty overrated.

This model is designed to be printed full-scale, takes 6 and a half hours to print, and uses 115 grams of filament. You could scale it down in theory, but it would ruin the windows and the engine struts might become fragile. The assembly is pretty straightforward, so I won't add any instructions.

As always, a small reminder that my models are for personal use only. Printing and selling any of my models is not permitted under the licensing terms.
