I designed a complete set of replacement tiles and a board support foot for the classic wooden box edition of Rummikub (Remmy).
After losing one piece from my original set, I decided to model the entire collection from scratch so I’d always have spares ready if any other tiles get lost in the future.
Design & Modeling:
Designed from scratch: I didn't 3D scan the original pieces; instead, I measured them using a caliper to get as close as possible to the exact original dimensions.
Photo note: The photo shows an early test model. In the final uploaded files, I updated the font to match the original game tiles much more closely.
Included files: Full replacement tile set and the replacement leg/foot designed to hold up the wooden playing boards securely.
Important Note on Colors:
The tiles are single-color 3D models (monochrome).
You will need to paint the debossed numbers/symbols yourself after printing using acrylic paint, fine-tip markers, or enamel.
My Print Settings:
Material: PETG (I printed mine in PETG as I no longer use PLA, but ABS or resin printing would likely yield the best results).
Infill: 100% Solid Infill – Highly recommended so the tiles have a satisfying, heavy feel similar to the original game pieces.
Layer Height: Printed at 0.08 mm for maximum smooth detail (0.16 mm should work well too).
Flow Rate: 90%
Feel free to print just the missing piece you need or the full set!
