Diferent Gridfinity trays to hold ICs of type DIP4N to DIP28N.
The N here stands for "narrow", meaning it can accomodate ICs of 0.3" (7.62mm) of width having from 4 to 28 pins (14 on each side).
There are trays of sizes:
1 x 1 x 2
1 x 2 x 2 - With ICs held in short rows spanning the tray width.
1 x 2 x 2 - With ICs held in long rows spanning the tray length.
This is NOT a remix:
I created the "blank trays" of sizes 1x1x3 and 1x2x3 using the OpenSCAD Library "Gridfinity Rebuilt" from https://github.com/kennetek/gridfinity-rebuilt-openscad.
Then, adjusted them on TinkerCAD to add the divisions: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/j4d1GVucq59-gridfinity-dipxxn-ic-trays?sharecode=9IVEBZf8QCLgGVbtyYJxnRSfd4kZv65i8PMmSO3UwLs
Aren't the models basically the same as the other ones available on Printables?
Not really, as:
All of other ones are not wide enough to hold 4 DIP-8N or 2 DIP-16N chips on the width rows. So I create 2 of the (the smaller 1x1 and the 1x2 with short rows) in a way they could accomodate these sizes.
Also, the 1 x 2 x 3 with the long rows is not available as any other model (as far as I could find - I can be wrong though).
