Note: This is currently designed for v5.2 only, for the v5.1 hub, see the original design
This is a remix of Phastor's USB Hub shell for the MattHub and Bigscreen Beyond Soft Strap. The original design fit hub version 5.1, so I re-modeled the case and lid to fit the 5.2 hub. The attachment point for the clip is basically identical, so the original clip is re-used here.
This case includes a flexible button to press the power cycle button on the USB hub, and also has a cutout to access the bottom JST port as well as the top. The case snaps together without screws or glue, and has 4 notches near each corner that can be used to pry the case back open. In the Alternate Parts folder, there are 2 progressively looser case versions that give more space to where the hub sits, in case you have trouble fitting the PCB in. There's also an export of the lid without the reset button for those who don't use it or want to avoid accidental presses.
Printing & Assembly
Print in PLA or PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height or smaller, orient lid flat side on the print bed (upside down)
Snap hub into case, snap lid closed, snap clips onto back of hub
Open clips and slide onto soft strap
Close clips
Plug into headset & accessories
