Keep electronic components and small tools organized with the FlowTray Series – Electronics 12.
The tray combines ten small component compartments with two full-width tool channels. It is suitable for resistors, connectors, headers, screws and similar project parts, as well as tweezers, probes and small hand tools.
### Features
- Ten compartments for electronic components and small hardware.
- Two full-width channels for tools and longer parts.
- Sloped retrieval surfaces in every compartment and channel.
- Rounded internal corners.
- Stackable with all organizer trays in the FlowTray Series.
- Single-piece design with no assembly, magnets or additional hardware required.
### Dimensions
- Overall size: 168 × 118 × 24 mm.
- Two tool channels: 163.2 × 19 mm each.
- Ten component compartments: 30.72 × 34 mm each.
- Nominal wall thickness: 2.4 mm.
- Nominal base thickness: 4.8 mm.
The dimensions describe the nominal openings below the rim chamfer. Rounded corners and retrieval ramps reduce the completely flat base area. Measure larger parts and tools before printing.
### ESD notice
Ordinary 3D-printed plastic is not certified electrostatic-discharge protection. Store ESD-sensitive components in suitable protective packaging and follow the handling requirements for your components.
### Stacking
The underside locates inside the rim of the tray below, allowing different FlowTray Series layouts to be combined in one stack.
Remove tools or components that extend into the stacking area before placing another tray on top. The trays are gravity-stacked and centered by their geometry; they do not use a snap-fit or locking mechanism.
### Suggested print settings
- Orientation: flat base on the build plate, compartments facing up.
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm.
- Layer height: 0.20 mm.
- Walls: 3 perimeters.
- Bottom layers: 5.
- Infill: 15–20%.
- Supports: designed to print without supports.
- Material: PLA is a suitable starting option for dry indoor storage.
These are suggested starting settings, not a tested print profile. Use the appropriate profile for your printer and filament, inspect the sliced preview and print at 100% scale to preserve stacking compatibility.
### Files and validation
STL, STEP and a geometry-only 3MF are provided together with the editable CAD source. The 3MF does not contain a configured printer profile.
The geometry has been digitally checked as a closed, single-part mesh. The STEP file was successfully re-imported and the 3MF geometry matches the STL.
The model has not yet been physically test-printed or slicer-tested. Actual fit depends on your printer, filament and print settings. All preview images are CAD renderings, not photographs of a printed model.
If you print it, please share a Make and let me know how the compartment layout and stacking fit work on your printer.
