Black and Decker Workmate bench dog

I needed new bench dogs for my Black and Decker Workmate that were compatible with the original ones. The model from Thingiverse was good, but not easy to print, and the plug was too small, so the part didn’t fit securely enough. So I closed up the many openings that were only necessary for the injection-molded part and increased the diameter of the plug. I printed the bench dog on the beveled side so I could print it without supports. It’s best to print one clamp first and then scale the model if necessary to get a good fit with the plug.

Ich brauchte neue Spannklötze für meine Black und Decker Workmate, die kompatibel mit den originalen Klötzen waren. Das Modell von Thingyverse war gut ,aber nicht einfach zu drucken und der Stopfen war zu klein, sodass das Teil nicht fest genug saß. Ich habe also die vielen Öffnungen, die nur für das Spritzgussteil wichtig waren verschlossen und den stopfen im Durchmesser vergrößert. Ich habe den Spannklotz auf der angeschrägten Rückseite gedruckt, sodass ich ohne Stützen ausgekommen bin. Man sollte erst eine Klemme drucken und dann ggf. das Modell skalieren, um die Passung am stopfne gut hinzubekommen.
