Grid-Based Box for Electronics Components

I made this box to keep my small electronics components organized and easy to find. I usually have things like resistors, LEDs, sensors, connectors, screws, and other small parts lying around, so I wanted to make a simple box that could keep everything separated.

The box has a 5×4 grid, giving me 20 individual compartments for storing different components. Each compartments is 45×45 which is enough to store the small components

I also added a proper hinged cap/lid so the components stay inside and the box can be closed when I'm not using it.

The project is divided into two separate 3D-printable parts:

  • Box: the main 5×4 grid storage section with 20 compartments.

  • Cap: the hinged lid that closes the box.

I designed everything in Onshape.

It's a simple project, but it's really useful for keeping my electronics parts organized and making it easier to find what I need while working on projects.
