This model is a remix of the domestic goat cranium (Capra aegagrus hircus) originally made available on Sketchfab by RISD Nature Lab licensed under Creative Commons Attribution (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

My changes:

The original model had significant damage to the right side of the cranium in the facial area, so I used Meshmixer to mirror the left side to create a more complete cranium. Obviously, crania are not exactly symmetrical in nature, but this model had high detail so I thought it would be nice to make it complete. I have attached comparison pics so you can see the difference from the original.

Print Settings:

  • 0.20 mm layer height

  • 2 walls

  • 8% grid infill

  • tree supports at 30 degrees

    • initial layer expansion = 5 mm (if you have adhesion issues, you can increase this)

    • top z distance = 0.20 mm

    • top interface layers = 2

    • top interface spacing = 0

I printed this on a Bambu A1 with Sunlu matte bone white PLA. I did not apply any post-processing to my print in the pics, so you can see how the support surfaces look on the inferior surface--the supports came off pretty cleanly. I oriented the model on the build plate so that it would fit without having to cut the horns. If you change the orientation, you will likely need to cut the horns.
