Print Instructions:

  • 15% infill

  • Supports: Yes

  • 0.2 Layer Height

  • If printing with MMU/AMS, print the duck and the hat separately. They will need to be glued together after assembling the propeller.

Assembly Instructions:

If you've printed everything separately instead of an MMU/AMS, give it a bit of super glue to hold everything together, but don't glue the hat directly to the duck yet, you'll need to access the underside to thread a wire through to attach the propeller.

You'll need a bit of jewelry wire and make a loop on one end and slide it up through the bottom of the hat so that it pokes out the top hole, then slide your bead and then the propeller on and then make another loop in the wire on top to hold everything in place. I recommend having the bead because the propeller otherwise gets a little stuck on the edges of the hat.

If you're having trouble getting all the hat pieces to align when gluing I recommend using the duck itself as a form to hold the pieces to, to make sure they are in the right place.

Now you can glue the hat to the duck. Enjoy!

Shoutout to J.Wu for the inspiration for this model :)
