The stethoscope is a basic item of medical equipment, however it can also transfer pathogens include viruses, from one patient to another.
This model is a clip which is designed to hold a small plastic bag over the bell/diaphragm end of the instrument. The bag is replaced after each patient. The clip should also be replaced, but can be recycled after appropriate cleaning and disinfection.
PETG works well, because it has flexibility and is non-brittle.
