Halloween Advent Calendar

The Witch’s Chimney is a spooky Halloween advent calendar for October 1–31. Its open-front chimney features uneven charcoal stones, orange sliding shelves and white date numbers. Two frightened cartoon children hug each other above a detailed witch’s cauldron, surrounded by green slime and sculpted red-and-yellow flames. A hand-wringing witch stands beside it, with an old brown wicker broom resting in the chimney’s built-in holder.

The children begin on the shelf marked 1. Each day, pull out that day’s shelf: odd numbers slide out to the left, and even numbers slide out to the right. A concealed guide keeps the children upright as they drop onto the next shelf. On Halloween, removing 31 releases them for their final descent into the cauldron.

A square storage holder behind the chimney keeps all the removed shelves together. To reset the calendar, lift the children to the top, insert the shelves from 31 back through 1, and lower the children onto the first shelf.
