A modular lamp of twisting inner and outer strands, stacked from identical elements on a base for an E27 socket. Stack up to three elements on the base and finish with the top element.
Unglued, the elements jam onto pins and are held by clips, so you can rebuild the lamp at another height. Glue the pins for a permanent configuration of your choice.
Have fun!
Update
The plate now locks into the base with a hidden twist-lock.
The cable holes on the base have been increased to a diameter of 7 mm.

Assembly
The exploded view shows the parts from top to bottom: top element, clips, stackable element with pins, plate with pins, base.

Preparing the base
Pull the textile cable through the cable hole in the outer wall and the hole in the central tube.
Mount the E27 socket with its cable in the central tube.
Optional: Use some kind of weights to improve the stability of the lamp. Keep the top 1 cm of the base free for the lock ring.
Glue the lock ring into the groove on the underside of the plate, with the sloped faces of the hooks pointing up. Let the glue cure.
Turn the plate so that its six hooks sit above the six gaps in the ledge. Slide it over the tube and lower it onto the ledge.
Turn the plate clockwise to lock it. To open the base later, turn it counter-clockwise and lift it out.
Screw in an E27 LED bulb.
Attention: PLA softens at about 55 °C, so use LED bulbs only.
Stacking the elements
For permanent connections put glue onto the pins of the inner and outer strands.
Lower the first stackable element over the tube onto the plate so the pins jam into the holes in the bottom of the strands.
Add up to two more stackable elements the same way, then the top element.
