A base mount for Virpil WarBRD/CM model bases. This is a remix of the mount that I found on MakersWorld https://makerworld.com/en/models/475312-virpil-warbrd-d-rig-base-plate?from=search#profileId-386063.
The key complaint from a lot of people was that it only mounted on one edge, which introduces a lot of flex. I added two ears on each side at the other end of the plate to be used on a 8040 profile. As a result it creates a very sturdy mount with almost no play.
Requirements for mounting:
4x M4 screws (these attach the base to the mounting plate - preferraably 20mm or more).
6x M8 screws (attach the plate to the profile).
