This is to attach guy wires to a tripod, I'm using a a tripod from Wimo, the "Tripod/mast 4.80m".

There are similar (or same) tripods available from other vendors, seems to be a very common 4.8m tripod.

This attaches to the top thinner part and allows good support for wind, etc.

I initially made the 4 guy wire version and as a fellow ham pointed out "why 4? isn't 3 enough?", so I made the 3 version and I use that one most of the time, but there are a few situations where 4 is useful, if you're using a vertical with elevated radials it makes sense to  have the same number of radials and guy wires, but 3 wires can also be more fiddly to make it strong (with 4 you pull them 2 by two, with 3 it's always a dance between the 3).

These are made to be used with M3 nuts and cap screws.

Made a couple more that I use to steady a 7.6m whip, it only has a 12.4mm hole since the top of the whip is smaller so it doesn't have to break up in two.

I use them for Ham Radio antennas while in the field and in conjunction with the antennas I build (available on my 3d objects ham collection).
