Guide

Print smol-flip-off.step first, to see if the "coin" can be freed-up non-destructively. It doesn't matter if it doesn't spin fully freely by itself as long as it can be moved. If you're feeling adventurous, try modifying print_hinge_tolerance in FreeCAD in the <<VarSet>>, and re-exporting the coin and frame models.

If you plan to hang this to a wall, flip-off-hanger.step are friction-fit on the edges, and flip-off-foot.step should friction-fit in the middle as stabilizers/supports. Roughly 3mm diameter screws should fit through the hole in hanger parts.

If you're planning to assemble a larger matrix out of several smaller modules, print a lot of flip-off-connector-y.step and pairs of flip-off-connector-x.step and flip-off-connector-x-mirrored.step . Connectors are friction-fit from both front and back. flip-off-foot.step can also be used in place of connector-y parts. Test tolerances with multiples of smol-flip-off.step before committing to a larger build

The matrix in the pictures is a 16×20, consisting of 4 flip-off.step modules and 2 smaller ones mid-flip-off.step , offset from each other to avoid a + connection point, has been printed in white PET-G, and spray-painted with two layers of black (front) and purple (back) paints.
