I have a GatorFrameworks 5 guitar stand that I use at gigs to hold my guitars. The stand is fine, but I grew annoyed by the fact that the foam covering the dividers that stick out kept coming off. The guitar necks rest on these so I didn't want to lose the foam pieces. I designed this model to solve this problem.
I printed in TPU and highly recommend a flexible filament for this. You don't want a hard plastic to scratch your guitar necks and the model is made for somewhat of a pressure fit that might not work out with a hard plastic.
In short, there's an inner piece that is designed to fit inside the aluminum tube of the divider itself. This is the pressure fit portion. There is also an outer piece that is designed for the foam to fit inside of which is what holds the foam in place.
