Caster Risers for INBXX – 4 Heights
These are printed caster risers for the INBXX for Prusa CORE One INDX enclosure. There are four different heights, so you can choose what works for your needs. They mount at the INBXX’s bottom corners and accept standard leveling or swivel casters. Tested with these casters: Amazon UK – B00K30T7C4
Size Options
Size | Riser thickness | Long M5 screw length |
|---|---|---|
Small | 23 mm | M5 × 40mm |
Medium | 53 mm | M5 × 70mm |
Large | 83 mm | M5 × 100mm |
XLarge | 103 mm | M5 × 120mm |
Hardware per riser
2× M3 × 30 screws + 9 mm OD washers
2× long M5 screws (length depends on size, see table)
Optional: 2× M5 × 10 heat-set threaded inserts
2× M5 × 16 screws

Mounting
Each riser + caster set attaches to a bottom corner of the INBXX using two sets of existing holes:
The two pre-spaced M5 holes. The long M5 screws pass through the caster plate and the riser, then into the frame. This carries the load through metal fasteners rather than relying on the plastic alone.
The M3 holes at that corner. In the stock INBXX build, these hold the printed exterior frame to the 2020 extrusion. The riser’s M3 × 30 screws (with washers) replace the original screws at those positions.
⚠ Before mounting: remove and discard the two original M3 screws at each corner where a riser will go. They’re too short for mounting the riser and need to be replaced with longer screws. Pictured below is one M3 with a washer that replaces the original M3 screw - the other large hole is where the second M3 screw is that should be removed.
Two additional M5 screws are used to mount the caster to the riser itself. Two versions are included, one designed for a heat-set insert and one that allows for self-tapping if heat-set inserts aren't your thing. (pictured below)

Caster compatibility
Mounting plate with holes spaced 42 mm on center (42 × 42 square pattern)
Maximum plate size 56 × 56 mm
Many casters look alike but use different hole spacing. Measure yours before printing.

Print settings (Printed on a CORE One+ with 0.4 mm nozzle)
Material: PETG
Layer height: 0.3 mm
Perimeters: 5
Top layers: 5 / Bottom layers: 5
Infill: 35% gyroid
Orientation: frame-mating face down on the bed (this should be how it imports)
Print with supports
The models include solid rings around the fastener holes, so no infill modifiers are needed.
Assembly note:
If you use heat-set inserts, the insert rim must sit flush with or slightly below the caster-mating face. Even a slightly raised insert will stop the caster plate from sitting flat.
