I saw this SONGMICS 12-Slot Wooden Watch Box on amazon and thought it would be a great way to display my IEM collection. After seeing how much of a pain it was to wrap the IEMs around the included pillows I decided I could design something better. I designed it to be a two part print that is friction fit together. This makes it easier to print and remix the face plates. I had no problem getting a clean friction fit when printing with a 0.6mm nozzle. I have included a test fit file so you can check your own tolerances. This design should still have a use case if anyone wants to design a custom display with the same dimensions (74mm tall, 63mm wide, 58mm deep).

My design features a hook to hold the IEM cables in a way that they will show off the face of the IEM. The IEM voids leave enough space for IEMs and their nozzles/tips to have no clearance issues (at least from my testing). Inside the cable wrap is a void pocket where all the 3.5mm jacks I have tested can fit no problem (from thick and long jacks to L-shaped ones). The void pocket could also fit a standard packet of desiccant if your cable does not take up much space. The faceplate also features cutouts so you can easily grip and remove the display from its shelf.

I have two sizes of faceplates. The large cutout should be compatible with most multi-driver IEMs. The large cutout does not showcase the face of smaller single DD IEMs as well since their is no surface for the tips to hook onto, so I made a version that fits pairs like the CHUs and BLON JoJos perfectly.

If you want to modify it to better fit your particular set I have the work-in-progress files up on TinkerCAD. You can download the Illustrator file here and I have attached the standard SVG to this post. The hooks for the cables may also be a little small for IEMs with thicker cables. My largest cables barely fit.
