While overhauling the engine on the bench it's necessary to turn the engine.

The length is designed that the rotor nut gives tension to the hextube so the slot for the Woodruff key does not take the load alone.

I made two versions:

  • Heavy Duty version (Hex 1-1/2" / 33,3mm) which fits the box spanner of the countershaft sprocket nut

  • Flimsy one for people with feelings (Hex 1"/25,4mm) e.g. 9/16" whitworth

Prints without support. 0,15mm structural.

Remove before starting the engine.

Bear in mind that PETG looses its shape resistance around 65°C to 75°C (149°F to 167°F) if you intend using a heat gun or blowtorch.

Use at your own risk.
