A coaster & a coaster holder that are shaped like toast and toaster. The toast is spring loaded so it is easily put/taken.
Features & Tolerance:
Designed to fit standard cup sizes.
100% support-free design.
Print Settings:
Supports: None!
Layer Height: 0.2mm (or 0.16mm if you want cleaner curves on the roof)
Infill: 15% - 20%
Filament: PLA or PETG works great
Usage & Assembly:
The model is stackable, which means that you can print as many coaster as you want and it works using dovetail joints that connects the stacks and the covers.
Please note that the springs require the spring fixator to be fixed probably in the middle of the holder.
please note that you are required to print TWO springs and TWO spring fixators of EACH type (A or B) for EACH stack of coasters you will use.
Also please note that the front and back covers are printed only once.
Then for example if you will need FOUR Coasters, then you will print EIGHT Springs, EIGHT Type A fixators, and EIGHT Type B fixators, ONE front cover, ONE back cover, and the rest of the models will be printed only FOUR times.
Also please note that if you will print in PETG, it is recommended to print the springs in PLA to have more flexibility, or reduce their thickness.
STEP File & License: I uploaded both the STL and the editable .STEP file in the files section so you can open it up in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or FreeCAD to modify or resize the hole. This project is open source under CC BY-SA 4.0, so feel free to remix it!
