Mimi Bow Kitty is a cute character-style display model with a rounded white body, red dress and distinctive bow. The simple shapes are complemented by small facial and clothing details that give the finished figure plenty of personality. The model is assembled from multiple printed components, making the transformation from individual pieces to the completed character especially satisfying to see.
Printing Tips \ Assembly Instructions
This model was printed using Ivory White PLA Matte and Red PLA Basic filament. To simplify the colour workflow, I chose to finish some of the details by hand rather than relying entirely on filament changes. Red acrylic paint was used to finish the bow, while black acrylic paint was applied to the eyes and whiskers to give the face its final definition. This approach reduced the number of filament changes required and helped keep the overall printing time shorter, while still giving the finished model its distinctive red, white and black detailing.
