Any printed part change besides the flywheel cage is optional. Should work with any of the packs, but is only tested with mechanical semi auto pack. Included "Magwell Cover USBc" file is the same magwell cover as the original but includes a usbc cutout for the usb connector on an esp32c3 supermini.
New electronics I used are:
2x 20A single escs (you can get away with like ~10A escs but 20A are easier to find [I used littlebee brand ones but most any that look like that should do])
2x 1104 Brushless Motor 4300KV (there is a whole lot of listings for unbranded silver motors. most any of those should work)
1x esp32c3 supermini
1x 3.3V buck converter (any will work but I like the ones that aren't adjustable if they are going to be inaccessible like this)
Build-wise, I would recommend swapping the wires on the motors to silicone wire since they are going to have to get shortened quite a bit and you don't want to melt the pvc coating on there. There is a pcb on the bottom of the motors to help switching those leads out, but the pads are tiny and you for sure don't want to bridge them. Once you have the motors connected to the escs, try test fitting the escs under the cage. They should fit if you line up the large flat planes of the escs and then place the long end of them under the cage.
Esc signal wire (the white one) goes to pin 6 on the esp (I connected them which is typically ill-advised but I didn't want to code in 2 signal pins to start with), and the thinner black wire goes to ground. The switch leads have one on 3.3v and the other on pin 0 of the esp. If you upload the supplied code to your esp, you should be able to get the brushless motors to spin when you press the switch of the trigger. Test often as you try to close it up from there and shorten leads as much as you need to so everything fits comfortably in the front where the 130 motor cans would go. Heat shrink and electrical tape anything that could touch and short out to avoid reliability issues.
Code is attached. That is the part of this build that I am still working through as I don't have much familiarity with code. Any help on that front is appreciated either in comments or DMs. I would love for it to work on bluejay, but I can only seem to get it to work with blheli_s (32 sometimes works but I don't feel like it is consistent enough). Future goals are to add "hotshot" mode to keep the motors revved a bit after letting off the switch and then idling them to help reduce spinup time for consecutive shots. I will update the files if/when that gets implemented.
Shoutout Bluest_G for making an awesome blaster and sharing it with the community!
