Customisable round container, biscuit tin, cookie jar with text and image

A customisable, parametric round lidded container with optional text and image on the lid.

I wanted something for my mother to put her (deliscious) traditional homemade shortbread rounds in. This is what resulted after tinkering. Customise it to suit whatever you want to put in it. I've included some example STLs here, including my shortbread tin. I've also included some SVGs.

Any image you use must be in the same directory as the SCAD. Add your own SVG to the SCAD directory and either rename the file to default.svg or type your image name in the image selector parameter.

Customisable parameters include: Inside diameter Wall thickness Inside height of the container Lid Height Lid Tolerance for fit Corner Rounding on outside corners Add up to three lines of text to the lid Add single colour SVG with transparent background to the lid Text and SVG may be independently inlayed or engraved if included Scale your image Change font size and spacing Independently move the image or text up, down, left or right for placement Set engraving depth Independently set text and image preview colours (this does not colour your STL)

Inlayed text and images are offset very slightly from the lid surface so you can use Paint with Edge Detection in your slicer to colour your image and text. The lid will sit face up in preview and will auto flip when rendered for printing without supports.
