The Triangular Podium Mechanism is a mechanical model designed in Fusion 360 that uses a triangular arrangement of connected parts to create an interesting movement. It was a fun project to explore how different components work together and how joints can control their motion. To build the model, print the individual parts separately and assemble them according to their positions in the design, making sure the joints are aligned correctly and the moving parts can move freely. For 3D printing, PLA is a good choice for a prototype, with a 0.2 mm layer height and around 20–30% infill as a starting point. Print the parts in suitable orientations, check the holes and contact areas after printing, and adjust any tight-fitting joints if needed. Before using the mechanism, test its movement by hand to ensure everything works smoothly.
