This model page includes both a template file to carve, and an example of a pumpkin with the BYU "Y" logo cut into it. Check out this Makerworld collection for more inspiration.
This workshop was created for the Toolbox Maker Space in the BYU McKay school of education. It is intended to help teach basic 3D modeling and boolean operations to people who otherwise never have tried it before, so hopefully you learn something from doing this workshop.
If you have already completed this challenge and/or would like to level up the difficulty, a tutorial for a more advanced method of pumpkin carving with blender is in the works and will be published soon.
