Some of my HomePod mini 1Gs suffered from the virtual ghost touch problem, which would randomly play music at night or repeatedly perform a factory reset. The solution was to disconnect the touch panel, but in the process, the foam adhesive attaching the rubber bottom is destroyed.
Tip: After the repair, get a needle and thread to tuck in the mesh again. Once I got the thread through, tie a double fisherman's bend to create a loop, then pull both ends to cinch the bottom of the mesh back to its original form.
These models aren't perfect re-creations of the original parts, but they're functional enough for designers to model new mounts or stands.
