Artistry meets function with the Lotus Mandala Wall Clock, featuring an intricate layered design that is made for an easy print with little waste, with only 4 color changes.
The twelve petal lotus-inspired center frames the clock face, with clearly marked numbers and a beautiful ornamental pattern radiating outward. It's a great way to add a touch of boho, mandala, or mystical decor to your home. Makes for a beautiful and useful gift!
I suggest 0.16 layer height for optimal print time while preserving details, with ironing on topmost surface so that the numbers print cleanly. A support layer is necessary under the model where the clock mechanism will fit. If you use my 3mf, all of these settings have already been optimized.
Made to use a standard 56mmx56mm clock mechanism as pictured below. I used one with a ¼ inch shaft, but others will work. The thickness where the shaft goes through is 6mm. Most of these kits come with clock hands, but I printed my own and I am including a few options on the 2nd plate. They are set to 0.08 layer height. The second hands will not print with the tiny hole needed with a 0.4 nozzle so skip those if that is your setup, but the minute and hour hands are usable and print as shown on my model photos.
