My motivation for this scatter terrain was that I felt there is very little free terrain that is actually FDM printable without supports that fits my requirements. So my goals were the following:
Has to be FDM printable without supports
Not overloaded with details, but still read as what it is supposed to be
Can be quickly printed and painted
Those models are the results, All of it has been printed with a 0.4mm nozzle and a resolution of 0.2mm. No post processing has been done, I took them off the print bed and painted them up. The STLs are oriented in the way I'd recommend to print them.
I am happy to add more to this collection, if you have any ideas, let me know what you would like to see. I want to keep this themed to things that you would find in a warehouse in the present time or in the future. For example the pallet can be painted in brown tones for a wooden "current" look or in other - more plastic colors - for a more futuristic look.
Please share your makes, I'd really love to see what you make out of it.
Obviously you can also print this out on a resin printer, I think the parts should be pretty easy to hollow, but terrain always feels like a bit of waste to print on a resin printer.
