A little dumpling that moves like a wave in your hand.
HOW IT MOVES
10 twisted slices in a closed ring, printed in place as one part.
Every slice is keyed to both neighbors with a small knob in a slot, so it slides up and down but never comes apart.
Each slice slides about 8 mm up or down against the next.
Hold it by one slice and the opposite side hangs about 42 mm lower, rippling around the ring.
Set it on a flat surface and every slice slides back to rest.
SIZE
About 77 x 77 x 45 mm at rest.
FILES
Body, with a 0.50 mm gap between slices.
Slicer profile (.ini) with the settings it was made for.
PRINT SETTINGS
0.4 mm nozzle, 0.15 mm layers
Silk PLA
Supports, brim and raft OFF, or the slices can weld together
Print flat on its base as exported. Do not scale it; scaling changes the gap betweenobs.
AFTER PRINTING
Flex each slice gently to free it, then slide each one up and down a few times until it moves smoothly.
FACE
The mouth is printed on the body. The eyes and cheeks are open sockets: leave them ase in your own pieces.
NOTES
The slices meet around a small 6 mm opening at the top.
print it, share it, remix it, just don't sell it.
