I took the logo for the game, brought it into GIMP, removed the background (made it transparent) with only the "Space Sailors" text remaining, and converted the image to Indexed Colors > 1-bit black and white palette. Then I decreased saturation, color temperature, etc all the way to make the entire image black.
I then saved the image, cropped it and converted it into an SVG.
Next, I opened Fusion 360, created the base for the name plate, imported the SVG and extruded it on an arc using the sweep tool. Adjusted the path for the sweep to make it just right, and added finishing touches with the fillet and chamfer tools.
Then exported as STL and rendered an image of the model in Fusion 360, and uploaded to thingiverse!
