This project was born from a brilliant idea by my 9-year-old son Davide, who wanted a fun and interactive way to hand out candies for Halloween!

It looks like a mysterious bone that has been slammed straight into your table, resting in a pool of blood. But when you press the side button, the mechanism springs into action: it pops open and transforms into a full bone-shaped serving tray loaded with candies and treats!

The mechanism is delightfully clever: pressing the button on the base (attached to the blood-pool effect and also printed fully print-in-place, except for the button itself) activates an internal plunger that pushes the upper part of the bone upward. This upper section consists of 5 elements: two small red connecting pins, the two bone halves, and the central hinge section printed entirely as a single print-in-place piece with no assembly required. When triggered, the structure springs open and flips outward, spilling out all the candies and treats. The treats can then be collected and placed back inside the bone, which now serves as a handy bone-shaped serving tray.

In-Place Prints (Print-in-Place): Some components featuring hinges and internal mechanisms are designed to be printed all in one piece, with no assembly required for those specific parts.

Assembly: Other sections require a straightforward final assembly (refer to the assembly diagram and exploded view in the images).
