Groot is a tree who saved the galaxy with a vocabulary of three words. Impressive. But try handing him your jacket and asking him to hold it: he says “I am Groot” and wanders off wearing your coat, as if nothing happened.
This branch has the same charisma and an even smaller vocabulary: zero words. In exchange, it doesn’t fidget, doesn’t wander off and holds your jacket, bag and scarf without commenting. Three hooks, three things hanging, no “I am Groot”.
The entryway has put down roots: your jacket no longer ends up on the couch, your bag stops circling the chairs and your scarf stops disappearing. Groot saved the galaxy. This branch only saves the entryway.
But on Monday morning your jacket is right where you left it, and neither of them ever asked for a thank you.
