This is a simple container that uses the iris box mechanism. I made it as an organizer for small items.
The main container has protrusions that fit it the slots on the petals, which already are mounted on the carousel stubs (not fixed attachment, just put in place). Then the retainer is placed on top to hold all the petals down.
The iris box works by sliding the small tab attached to the carousel, which in turn moves the petals. Since the protrusions of the main container are fixed, they slide down the groove of the petals, thereby making the petals open and close.
