A WORKING mechanical signal box in N scale 1:160 with a real interlocking lever frame. Pull a lever and a semaphore signal arm swings 45 degrees (lever, pull rod, bell crank, operating rod, arm); another lever swings the points panel. The interlock is real: lock pins pass through the divider walls into 45-degree pockets on the lever hubs, so conflicting levers are blocked after only a few degrees of travel while all legal lever states still fit. The roof lifts off to show the frame. This is the free single-scale N 1:160 set: 22 STL files incl. a fit-test coupon, no supports (PrusaSlicer-checked, 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layers), about 40 g. Honest notes: the lever frame and linkage are about 3x oversize, the points are a stylised swing-rail panel, and the small pins (1.1 mm at N) are glued in. Designed and slice-checked, NOT test-printed yet - renders, not photos. The track, trains and scenery in the pictures are render props. The full kit with H0 1:87 + N 1:160 and multicolour 3MF files is on Cults3D: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/working-signal-box-model-interlocking-lever-frame-semaphore-signals-points . Part of a series of working hand-cranked port and railway models. Made with AI assistance (parametric design in Blender).
