GRAVIX is a gravitational hook mechanism to explore how moving parts and pivots joint work together and using gravity as its partner. The model features a hook and connecting links that create a mechanical movement, making it an interesting project to learn about linkages and mechanical parts. To build it print the parts separately and assemble them using pivot joints/screws, making sure the links are connected in the correct positions and can move freely. For printing choose PLA with 0.2mm layer height and around 20-30% infill as a starting point. Check the holes and joint properly to ensure that parts fits perfectly and adjust any tight joints if needed so the mechanism moves smoothly.
