If you are like me, then you probably forget what the score is in the game (especially disc golf). So I made this to solve that exact problem.

This counter is only five parts, and the only non-3d printed part is a pen spring (5x20mm) which can be found here.

Print recommendations:

I printed mine with filament color changes (one on the lid, and one on the wheel).

Here's the print settings I used for each part:

-Body: 0.3mm layer height, supports (everywhere, to support the spring peg).

-Lid: 0.2mm layer height, no supports, color change on first layer (for lettered version).

-Pusher and Rachet: 0.2mm layer height, no supports, print speed very low (I didn't have to use a brim).

Notes on printing

The body and lid can be printed in PLA, but the pusher and rachet should be printed in PETG or something similar because they have to have springiness, but also need to last longer.

There is two versions of the lid: Letters and Non-Letters (the Letters version is in the pictures, but the Non-Letters version is just blank).

All the parts are in the optimal orientation for printing.

Assembly:

  1. Insert the wheel into the body piece.

  1. Insert the rachet into it's slot, lining up the thin end in one of the wheel slots.

  1. Insert the pusher into it's place.

  1. Insert the spring in between the pusher and the pusher stop.

  1. Install the lid, and you're done!
