The WorkSharp Precision Adjust is a nice idea, and works great for most knives. But its three-sided abrasive carrier might not reach all the way to the hilt-end of the knife edge, and you may want to go finer than the 600 grit that comes standard with the machine.

You can use any grit you like with this holder, adhered to the face with 3M Feathering Disc Adhesive Type II #08051 (This is supposedly hard to get, but I found it at Amazon with no drama.

I made two lengths, one 110 mm (the length of the original carrier) and the other 92-ish (the width of the abrasive sheets I bought).

I printed a bunch of them; although the adhesive allows you to peel the strips of abrasive off and stick on the next finest, it's handier to have the whole range available.

Note that I printed it with a 0.4 nozzle—if you go bigger, (or your extrusion isn't tuned well) the hole may be too small. In that case you could probably drill it out.
